PiecePerfect: room for one more piece.

Colour-matching puzzles, time to think and a robot companion.

PiecePerfect: room for one more piece artwork

Finding a space is only part of the puzzle. In PiecePerfect, you also need to think about the colours you’re putting together.

My second Android game is built around arranging sets of pieces on a grid. You can rotate them before placing them, mix primary colours and work through changing colour patterns. Moves are limited, but there is no timer: you have room to stop and consider the board.

A reactive robot keeps you company, and a few tools offer other ways to approach a stubborn puzzle. The saw splits pieces, glue joins them, the wand helps with placement and the brush swaps pieces. A board that looks awkward at first can become a different problem once you use the tools available.

After navigating mazes in Slide, this release shifts the focus to the pieces themselves: how they fit, how their colours interact and what you can change before committing to a move.

Watch PiecePerfect in motion, read more about the project or try it on Google Play.
